I can't believe its almost here! Our first team competition is 5 weeks away!!! It is absolutely critical that there are no absences from here on out. Please do not let your dancer miss class!!!

With competition time also has to come dress Rehearsals! Please note these extra practices for Dress Rehearsal! These practices are Mandatory! they will wear costumes and have hair and makeup done so that we can make sure everyone has the right attire and everyone looks the same! Parents welcome!

Jr. Elite I have made the decision that you will wear foot undeez for both dances for it is hard for the tumblers to do their tricks in gore shoes!

Dance Showcase Dates and Times
These are the dates and times for the non-competitive classes. All will be held at Ultimate Dance. Please feel free to invite anybody you would like. This is very personable and there will only be one class at a time using the studio. There are no normal classes during this week! This is a very fun and exciting time for the dancers so please make them feel special! Each showcase is about 15Minutes! Please have dancer there 5 minutes prior to their show time. We will begin on time! I would hate for anyone to miss it. Please Have your dancer wear attire appropriate to their style of dance unless told otherwise by their teacher. All of the 3 and 4 yr old classes need white tights and both ballet and tap shoes! For all Competition Teams parents if you would like to see what the teams have been working on you may come and watch their Choreography class the week of Dec 5th-8th.

Registration for the winter/Spring will begin November 21st. The Schedule will be the same as the fall schedule.
. Early registration( 1 month free and no registration Fee with prepaid session) will end on December 10th. You can still get a ½ month free and no registration fee if you pay for the entire session after December 10th. Winter/Spring session consists of 5 months. Please note there is a $10 recital fee due at the time of registration as well. Spring recital will be in May. Session tuition is as follows:

Tuition is now over due! We will begin spacing out those dancers that have not paid their fees thus far.
Competitions
Every Team will be competing 2 dances at 5 competitions. ALL COMPETITIONS ARE MANDATORY!!!
Competition Fees are due Dec.1st $170. If not paid by Dec. 10th there will be a $20 late fee!
Mark your calendars for the following mandatory competitions:
February 25th-Thanksgiving Point, Lehi
March 17th-Maple Mountain High School, Mapleton
March 24th-Dixie High School, St. George (Book rooms NOW!! There are 3 dance competitions in st. George that weekend. All hotels will be full! I still have a few blocked out at La Quinta but most are sold out 888-788-2457 under Ultimate Dance) You will want to stay in st. George at the least on Friday the 24th for competition starts early on the 24th!
April 28th- Spanish Fork High, Spanish Fork
May 5th- Nationals-Lagoon, Farmington
Costumes
Costume Fees are due by Nov 1st. If not paid by Nov. 10th there will be a $20 late fee
Dance attire and Attendance
Proper dance attire is essential for each dancers progression!
Leotards, tights and ballet shoes are required for all ballet classes!!!
Hair must be pulled back for all dance classes!
Please do not miss any classes. It is really hard to teach choreography if their is a dancer missing!!!

Summer Slam Dance Camp In Idaho!!!
Dance camp in Idaho is this week! I am so excited! Please remember it is very hard work and very exhausting and intense, but if you try your hardest you will learn sooo much! Please go with a positive hardworking attitude!
Just a few things to reiterate myself from all the other notes:
***Don't Forget Dance waivers! They will not let you dance if you do not have one. Print these out on www.danceamericausa.com go to summer slam camp and click on the link for the waiver!
*Meet at ultimate Dance for Caravan on Wednesday Aug 3rd at 12:30 (Please eat lunch before we meet)
Everyone should have their own rides already I assume. If you are not planning on meeting us and following us at 12:30 Please call Misty so that we are not waiting for you!!
*Bring white tank or spagetti strap tops and black bottoms.......and any other dance attire you wish.
*Bring Proper Dance shoes for genre including sneaker shoes. The Genres are Jazz, Lyrical, Hip hop and Technique. So I would be sure to have at the least your Jazz/gore shoes and sneaker shoes. Also be sure to bring stuff to put your hair back! Oh, and 8 and under they want you to bring some kind of boots for one of the dances. If you dont have any that is ok!
*Secret Sister Gifts-Bring 3 small gifts to exchange for secret sister gifts please do not spend a lot. These are for the dancers. Also, it is optional for the adults if you want to join in the fun!
* I have tops for each of the days at camp. We want everyone from UDE looking the same! I will be in the office Monday from 11-1 if you want to come pick yours up ahead of time!
